New project for the model contest in AZ.  It's a 1980 Ford Bronco with a 1997 Ford F-150 front clip and rear panels.  It will also be a full tube chassis with A-arms and 4-link.

"Walker" Coyne?

All plastic -- all built from scratch!

The tires came from a 1/20th-scale kit that has been discontinued for some time.  I took one of the tires (and other parts ) and sent it to my sponsor (who molds parts ) and had him mold them for me so that I can keep building off-road models . Before molding, I had to buy many 1/20th-scale kits just for tires (seeing I didn't build in 1/20th-scale, it was $$$ me a lot ).

But even still, on the average model there's about $60.00 worth of model kits in just one car. Each model kit runs about $13.00.

The Class One car (being scratch built ) still has at this time seven model kits in it. Example: Engine block is from a sprint car, motor parts came from two NASCARs, dash from a rally car … you can get the idea.

Wait ‘til I start on Walker Evan's old Dodge -- that should come out really cool.  I'm also working on Robby Gordon’s Red Bull TT, and an older Bronco that will have a T-T style front clip and rear panels and all-tube chassis, as well as center mounted A-arms and four-link rear end.  Until my molder can get around to making me some smaller scale tires, I can only build large size cars.

No Bajas or Rangers for a while.
